VALORANT thumbnail maker. Put the agent, the clutch, or the hiding spot first.

Paste a link to a VALORANT video or upload a thumbnail you like, name the real agent, map, or round result, and keep it all in the game or add your photo. WThumb builds a new 16:9 or 9:16 design around it.

WHAT CHANGES

Two VALORANT briefs, in the game and with a face.

The first brief is a hiding spot on Ascent: Jett crouches on Sage's Barrier Orb wall with an Operator while five enemies search below, with the game's own all-chat line (All)Jett: they never look up. The second is a skin showcase: the Reaver Karambit and the Reaver Vandal in a first-person view on Ascent. Both references were cleaned first, so no logo, tournament poster, or pro's name is left in them. The face pair adds one line: keep the game in the frame and put the creator beside it. The agents, weapons, and HUD are generated, so compare them with the game before publishing.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps from reference to result.

Open the Studio
  1. Bring a VALORANT reference

Paste a public link to a VALORANT video in the same format as yours, or upload a thumbnail you like.

  2. Name the agent and the words

Add the real agent, map, weapon, or round result, and the few words the picture should carry, as a headline or as an all-chat line like (All)Jett: Too easy.

  3. Generate it in 16:9, 9:16, or both

Keep it all in the game with the agents you name, or add your photo and say where you stand beside the agent. Each frame is composed on its own.

BUILD THE BRIEF

Give the idea a clear direction.

Let the format pick the picture

A clutch wants the one agent against the five and the gun that won it. A hiding spot wants the agent above and the enemies who never look up, a ninja defuse the Spike and the enemy walking past, a rank climb the rank from Iron to Radiant, a lineup guide the agent and where the ability lands.

Name the real agent, ability, or map

Viewers know Jett's Blade Storm knives, Sage's Slow Orb, Sova's Recon Bolt, the Spike, and the ziplines of Icebox on sight. Ask for the real one by name instead of a ninja, an ice ball, or a bomb.

Check the game details, leave the logo off

Generated agents, weapons, and HUD pieces can drift from the game, so compare them with VALORANT and fix one thing per revision. Keep the VALORANT logo, its V mark, and lettering in its style off the picture, and skip VCT team skins and player cards, which carry a pro team's emblem.

QUESTIONS

What to know before you start.

Ace and 1v5 clutch highlights, hiding spots and ninja defuses, rank climbs from Iron to Radiant, 1v1s against every rank, agent guides and lineups like Sova's on Ascent, Sheriff only or Operator only challenges, new agent and patch reviews, tier lists, and skin bundle showcases. Any video with one premise the picture can show works.

Yes. Leave the photo out and the picture stays in the game: the agents you name, their abilities, the map, and your words. Add your photo or a saved persona when your reaction is part of the story. By default your photo takes the place of the figure in the reference, even an agent, so say what stays and where you go, for example: keep Jett on the wall and put me beside her.

You can ask for them by name: Jett with her Blade Storm knives, Sage and her Slow Orb, Sova's Recon Bolt, a Vandal, an Operator, or the Spike. The picture is generated, so agents, weapons, and HUD pieces like the kill feed, the minimap, or the chat box can drift. Compare them with the game and revise before publishing. Leave out VCT team skins and player cards, which carry a pro team's emblem, and put agent names, not real players' names, in a kill feed or chat line.

Not reliably. WThumb generates a new image rather than pasting a screenshot, so a skin like the Reaver Vandal comes back close, not detail for detail. Attach a clear screenshot of it as an extra image, point to it in your instructions, and check the result. If the exact skin must appear, put your words over your own screenshot in an editor.

A 16:9 thumbnail comes back at 2048 by 1152 pixels and a Shorts one at 1152 by 2048, each composed for its own frame rather than cropped. Tick both to get the pair from one brief; that is 2 WThumb credits, since 1 credit makes 1 thumbnail.

No. WThumb is an independent thumbnail maker, not an official VALORANT service. Leave the VALORANT logo, its V mark, and lettering in its style off your thumbnail too: your title already names the game, and a real agent, map, or weapon says VALORANT on its own.
